NAONWORKS, an operational technology (OT) solutions company, participated in ADIPEC 2022 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and introduced ALITA, an oil and gas well automation solution.
The company has secured ALITA's reliability in the Universal Wellpad Controller (UWC), an open architecture-based oil and gas well remote monitoring automation project with a leading U.S. oil and gas company since 2017.
ALITA is a software (SW) solution that helps users automate oil and gas production with OT protocol-based technology. It remotely monitors the status of oil and gas wells and integrates automatic control functions required for well control with peripheral devices using standard protocols. It is based on an open architecture that allows the system to be configured as desired, which attracted the attention of visitors.
"ALITA enables refineries to automatically optimize oil and gas production," said a company representative.
"They can remotely monitor multiple wells to increase productivity and efficiency, and we have spent the last three years developing the technology and validating its performance in the field in Texas, USA."
The software is integrated with Intel's Industrial Edge Insights (EII) middleware to maximize efficiency. It is an open architecture platform-based solution that provides management efficiency and cost-effectiveness in crude oil production and maintenance.
