Open-architecture-based Plunger Lift Controller

ALITA is an open-architecture-based plunger lift automatic control solution to monitor and control a well’s status and to continuously produce crude oil and gas. It is to be installed in plunger-lift wells or gas wells among artificial lift modes to produce oil and gas.

Independence is assured by classifying configured platforms depending on each role, including the CPU unit controlling the plunger lift, the I/O unit in charge of the sensor data’s input/output, and the flowmeter for output monitoring. Also, service expansion and flexibility are offered through connection to the industrial standard protocol between each unit. Maintenance costs can be saved because replacement is limited to the unit concerned in case of unit replacement for fault/expansion, as well as monitoring through the Internet.
